We also encourage our staff to take the nutritional exams run by all the major feed manufacturers, so we are always on hand to offer trained help and advice. Horse Feed and Bedding
Leisure or competition, working or resting, deciding what to feed your horse can be complicated. Feeding to add condition, feeding to cope with laminitis, at Alan's Ark we can meet your horses every nutritional need. Dodson & Horrell, Allen & Page, Baileys, Dengie, Spillers, Saracen are to name but a few of the well known and trusted feed concentrates and balancer ranges held in stock. Horsehage is another year round seller always in stock. Shavings, excel, aubiose and easibed are stocked all year round. If you would like a product we do not normally stock, we are happy to do a special order for you. This applies across the range from pet and horse feed or tack and clothing.
Horse Supplements
Our extensive supplement range comprises of herbs, and general purpose vitamins and minerals, pro and pre biotics, garlic and much more. A new addition to the supplement range is 550 million year old Himalayan rock salt,packed full of trace elements essential for healthy horses. Another advantage is that unlike salt blocks, it does not disintegrate. It is ideal for the summer months when additional salt is required. Equine America Products Cortaflex is something of a revelation in joint supplements, we have had such remarkable results using this product ourselves, and anecdotally have heard of equally remarkable results. Another Equine America product we thoroughly recommend is Lamiguard. It is a real breakthrough in treatment and ongoing prevention of laminitis.
